Steady lead light footsteps,

Notebook with newly written page, ink still wet

Advancing trust and time,

You bring the tequila and I’ll be the lime,

Soft fingers interlaced,

Trust flowing like rivers unfazed,

Your throat is filled with flocks of flightless birds,

I expectantly await the song of your words,

These planks and sinews skeltonic

Frame what remains electronic,

When I see you again I will kiss your feet,

Thank the dusty roads for holding you until it could be me.
