From Brittle Cypress, I rose from among the verdant and glossy elm,

Freed to find French honeysuckle and forget me nots,

Christmas roses in beds of nightshade,

Kiss my forehead and tell me it’s all okay,

I want so badly to believe,

Peach blossoms and pet peeves,

It’ll never be over, perennially bloom, I don’t want you to leave
